Ceremonies raising the national colors were held Wednesday in the schools of the city of Kenitra, in commemoration of 67th anniversary of the presentation of the Manifesto of Independence. A delegation including the Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training and the provincial delegate of Education has visited on this occasion several public and private schools to share with senior teachers and pupils feelings of patriotism and sacrifice that inspired this historical event.
One of the sites visited, Takadoum high school, was founded by the late Mohamed Diouri, one of the signatories of the manifesto of independence. The manifesto of independence, "said one student of the institution, traces the history of the struggle of the Moroccan people, under the leadership of the late King Mohammed V of Morocco for the independence and demonstrates the attachment of Moroccans to the unity of their homeland.
In schools, students with a national flags sang the national anthem and patriotic songs, an initiative to raise awareness of the historic significance of the event and its symbols, and consolidate in them the pride of belonging to the nation and enshrine the values of cohesion, solidarity and sacrifice for the territorial unity of the Kingdom. 
The Academy distributed on this occasion, 150,000 small flags with the national colors at the schools who were asked to organize activities related to the event to mount its importance, its significance for the history of independence of the Kingdom and the construction of modern Morocco.
