These creations, said the ICC could generate over 13,000 jobs. In terms of sectoral distribution, the services sector leads with 51 per cent or 1048 units and a total investment of over Dhs 540 million, followed by commerce with 800 units and the building sector and civil with 140 units and a total investment of around 1.3 billion dirhams.
In addition, 260 projects for investment total of over 5.4 billion dirhams have been instructed by the ICC during the same year. All these projects would create about 23,000 jobs. The region could attract investment even more important after the construction of the new Platform Integrated Industrial Kenitra "Atlantic Free Zone".
Initiated under the National Pact for the Emergence of Industrial, Industrial Integrated Platform aims to provide the best reception areas for investors, particularly those operating in the automotive sector. However the area could also host other activities aimed at Export particularly agro-industry, textile industries and cook, metallurgical industries, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment including automotive, chemical and semi chemical and services.
Free Zone Kenitra include, also, a logistics zone, a railway station, a dry port (transport by rail), Offshore Banking and Specialized Training Institute for Motor Trades that will be created with the collaboration international training partners.
The city of Kenitra and its area have already begun to attract international investors. Groups Japanese SUMITOMO (SEWS) and YAZAKI, specializing in the manufacture of automotive wiring, respectively, have invested 240 million dirhams and 236 million dirhams with a workforce of 4,300 people for the first and 1600 people respectively. A third investor, the French group "FAURECIA" built a unit of automotive seat covers for a total of 110 million dirhams employing 650 people.
According to the director of IRC, Jamal Attari, the Gharb region has huge potential and is an area of future investment in excellence.
To attract more investment, the IRC has undertaken, during of 2010, a series of promotional activities and communication to investors. The center signed a partnership agreement and cooperation with the Foundation Creation d'Entreprises (FCE) Group Banque Populaire on three major areas: support for the creation of SMEs and SOHO, exchange information and coordinate actions promotion. 
In addition, the IRC has participated during that year in many shows and events in Morocco and abroad. He has taken part in an important mission in the city of Kenitra cities of Istanbul and Konya in Turkey from May 6 to 11, and attended the Paris Motor Show of Paris from October 1 to 7, at the International Electronics and Electrical Equipment "MATELEC of Barcelona from 26th to 29th of that month, and the caravan of investment incentives organized by the Investors Club of Moroccans Abroad, held in Paris on October 30. These promotional efforts, says the ICC, are conjugated to a managerial approach based on the quality of service, reducing delays in starting a business and listening to users of the center.
